A few years back we started a sponsorship with the Christies Beach football club Inclusive league. It started off as a small sponsorship with branded merchandise for the players. Well, this all changed the moment we stepped into the club rooms to hand out the hoodies to the players. At that moment our sponsorship turned into a partnership. A partnership where the players are at the centre of what matters most to both the club and our company. This small gesture gave the team a feeling of unity and belonging and they wore them with pride.
This team is just like any other football team, baiting each other, pats on the back and encouraging words on the field, however these players face some hurdles in their life that other players may not face, but watching them play you would never know. What they give on the field is 110%, it is not just the play that stands out, it is inclusion off all players no matter their disability that shines through. If inspiration is what you are after this is the team to watch.
After attending numerous games and sponsorship events for this club it became apparent that the Inclusive league was one deserving and selfless league that we knew our company would be proud to be associated with, not because it is good PR or a good story but because it fits within our company values that we stand proud to uphold.
With this in mind we approached the SANFL I league, and we are proud to announce that we are now in partnership with them. We hope this partnership will support other teams to fulfill their footy dream and diversify the league.
