Board of Directors
Mr Peters began his career as a Police Prosecutor in the South Australian Police Force and then in the Australian Federal Police before moving into environmental management and enforcement at both the state and federal level. Mr Peters extensive environmental management experience in the government and private sectors has proven invaluable in developing NeuRizer
Mr Peters was a legal and training officer with the National Parks and Wildlife and a lecturer in environmental law at both TAFE and University level. He was then Head of Investigation and Compliance and acting Director of Central and Northern Regions with the Qld EPA. He managed the integration of the environmental regulation at the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Queensland Mining Industry into the EPA. He was the Environment Advisor for the Queensland Mining Council and then National Property and Environment Manager for the federal government at Airservices Australia.
Mr Peters commercial experience is also extensive. After being the Head of Business Nth Asia (Japan, Korea and China) for Airservices Australia, he joined Linc Energy and in his six years at Linc Energy, he held the positions of General Manager Environment and Government Relations, General Manager Business Development, Executive General Manager North Asia, Executive General Manager of Investor Relations and CEO of Linc Global.
Mr Peters has been CEO and director of other ASX and private companies.
Zheng joined the Leigh Creek Energy Board as Non-Executive Director on 5 December 2017.
Zheng is a senior finance executive and brings wide experience in the finance sector in both Australia and China. His experience includes having been a senior official for The People’s Bank of China in Australia and New Zealand.
Zheng was responsible for facilitating the investment in LCK by China New Energy, LCK’s largest shareholder.
Zhe joined the Leigh Creek Energy Board as a Non-Executive Director on 1 July 2017.
Zhe is a Chinese based Energy and Thermal Physics Engineer, who was appointed to the Board as a nominee of China New Energy Group Limited (one of Leigh Creek Energy’s major shareholders). Zhe has over 8 years executive management experience. Zhe also sits on the Board of Beijing Raise Mind Technology Ltd.
Zhe’s key areas of expertise include; Coal Combustion; Renewable Energy Applications and Steel Sinter. He has a Bachelor of Thermo Dynamics, Renewable Energy Applications as well as a Masters in Energy Engineering and Thermal Physics, Coal Combustion.
Mr Ryu is Vice President of Strategy & Planning, Plant Business Division of DL E&C Co. Ltd (“DL E&C”). Mr Ryu has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration. Mr Ryu has extensive experience at DL E&C, with McKinsey & Company and with Daewoo Engineering. He is currently in charge of Strategy & Planning, New Business Development and investment projects for DL E&C. In his various roles at McKinsey, he advised major industrial clients in preparing and implementing turnaround strategies and at Daewoo he was in charge of project development in large projects in Africa, Middle East and Central Asia.
Jordan is a qualified Lawyer, and has a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning. Jordan has worked with the NeuRizer Urea Project since its commencement, providing regulatory, compliance and other analytical advice. Jordan is a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association.
Jordan currently performs the legal role in the Company as well as Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary.

Cristian is an Executive General Manager with 18 years’ experience in the resources, energy and power sectors. He has successfully led business lines and cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations both in Australia and internationally. Cristian during his career worked with Chevron, Origin/ConocoPhillips, Petrofac/ZADCO(Exxon/ADNOC), OMV/Petrom, Rompetrol/KazMunayGas, Ramboll.
Cristian has a proven track record for driving operational and project excellence and generating business growth. As an Executive General Manager, Cristian has extensive experience in engineering and construction, strategy development and implementation, contract negotiation and execution along with client and stakeholder management and safely operating the assets. He was involved along his career in Oil and Gas, Coal Seam Gas; Pipeline, Compression, Water Treatment, Power plants, HV Power Transmission & Distribution, airports and infrastructure.
Tony Lawry has been with NeuRizer and its predecessors for over 12 years and has filled many roles in that time. He has deep history and commitment to the success of the company.
Prior to NeuRizer, Tony had a long career in state and federal governments, in the areas of general management, policy development and project delivery and management, all focusing on commercial property administration, management and development. He is tertiary qualified in property economics and valuation, and has post graduate qualifications in Applied Finance and Investment.
